The Bible in Its Traditions is happy to have begun a new collaboration with the Museum of the Bible Scholars’ Initiative. The Museum of the Bible, located near the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC and scheduled to open its doors in November, is “an innovative, global, educational institution whose purpose is to engage with the history, narrative and impact of the Bible.” The Scholars’ Initiative is the academic arm of the museum, occupied with funding selected, high-level, collaborative research projects.

Beginning in the fall, a pilot team of BEST researchers, with a grant from the museum and under the direction of Fr. Dr. Anthony Giambrone, OP (É.B.A.F.), will start work on Revelation in Its Traditions. This is an exciting new opportunity for the advancement of the BEST project and a very promising partnership for the future.
